One month from the Apple Event!

[UPDATE: The Apple Event has been officially announced for Tuesday, September 12 at 10AM PDT. Stay tuned for what is to be announced at apple.com!]

We are almost one month away from when the September Apple Event was last year (September 7). Does that mean we are one month away from the event this year? Well, in theory, yes. But, Apple doesn’t always stick to a dedicated schedule for holding the iPhone (September) events. In 2020, it was held in October, so it may be delayed then. What do we have to look forward to anyway? The iPhone 15 lineup, Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra, and other products

The iPhone 15 lineup is slated to feature faster chips on the Pros (A17 Bionic) and a periscopic lens on the Pro Max. USB-C is rumored to be standard across the board, which would make sense, because Apple has already transitioned all of the iPad models to it already. I would like to see what else Apple would like announce about the iPhone 15’s that haven’t reached rumors yet. New camera modes? More features for the dynamic island? We’ll see…

A highlighted feature that I have read about recently with the Apple Watch Series 9 is a new color option being added to the Silver, Starlight, Midnight, and (PRODUCT)Red. How about Pink? Isn’t for everyone, but I guess Apple wants to appeal to anyone. The Ultra might available in a darker titanium finish, similar to the color of the other Apple Watch models. Otherwise that, there might be performance updates and possibly surprise features? Since Apple announced the very major watchOS 10 update, I wouldn’t expect much to update to any of the Apple Watch models this year.

Many car brands have been announcing new cars for the 2024 model year on the market. Just recently, I saw the new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser be revealed online and I thought that of course it will have CarPlay, but what about the next-generation of CarPlay? Remember Apple announced it back in 2022, but no word after that. All of these new cars have been announced, but missing the new CarPlay. Its about time Apple give some update for their car ecosystem so people can know what car to buy that has the thing that we’ve—at least I have—been looking forward to. They said announcements will start at the end of 2023, and that is drawing near. Maybe provide some sort of update on more information and specifications for it? That would be my highlight of the Apple Event if they said anything about it.

Also, you know when the Apple Vision Pro was announced at the WWDC23, there was huge hype about it from Apple, with it being a game changing device and starts the era of “spatial computing”? They kept it pretty vague on other details of it when they announced it. Accessories? Attachments? Limitations, etc… Since the full reveal is over, why doesn’t Apple just give the more technical reveal at the September event with the specifications, of pricing, etc? I would like more details so we all could fully understand more thoroughly how it compares to the competition.

These are just my thoughts on what is to be announced, but who knows what Apple will do? With the surprises that they are known for, Apple can do anything they please. Honestly, everything is up in the air for this next event, so be sure to watch when it is announced, and stream the event live.
